Dr. Dasong Wang is an assistant postdoctoral research fellow at the Institute of Architectural Algorithms & Applications (Inst. AAA), School of Architecture, Southeast University. Having graduated with a PhD from the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Australia under the supervision of Roland Snooks and Fabio Zambetta, he previously held positions as a master's design studio tutor at the School of Architecture and Urban Design of RMIT and a PhD researcher at the Tectonic Formation Lab. His research centers on multiple domains including artificial intelligence, generative architectural design, mixed reality, and digital fabrication, which committed to the exploration of emerging digital technologies in architectural design and fabrication process with aims for innovative applications and interdisciplinary fusion. During his PhD, he was involved in the completion of a set of design projects, showcased at international exhibitions such as NGV Melbourne Design Week, Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism/Architecture, DigitalFutures, and MonashADR.
