Dr. Sunguroğlu Hensel is an architect and partner in the practice OCEAN Architecture | Environment. She is alsocoordinating manager and member of steering committee of LamoLab Research Centre. She has extensive experience in the subject areas of architecture, urbanization and environment; green construction; data-driven computational design; information modelling and knowledge-based decision support systems. Her practice work is located at the intersection of architecture, landscape architecture, urban design and ecology. She has previously taught at the Architectural Association School of Architecture in London, Oslo School of Architecture and Design, and Technical University Munich, and was until 2021university lecturer and researcher at Vienna University of Technology in the Special Research Area Advanced Computational Design in the context of the Centre for Geometry and Computational Design. Currently she is a post-doctoral researcher at Technical University Munich in the context of theH2020 FET Open project ECOLOPES where she leads work-package 4 on data acquisition and information modelling.
