Marco Trisciuoglio is a renowned scholar in architectural design field;Full Professor in ARCHITECTURAL AND URBAN COMPOSITION (ICAR 14) at Politecnico di Torino, Department of Architecture and Design (DAD); DAD Contact Person for International Relationships with Asia and Oceania (Pacific Area);and Coordinator of Top Talented Students Program (Architecture) 2016/2018 at Politecnico di Torino.
Since 2010, Prof. Marco Trisciuoglio participated in Sino-Italian Joint Teaching Project between Politecnico di Torino and Southeast University (School of Architecture) and assumed tutor. In autumn semester of 2015, he founded a Joint Design Studio (Bachelor level) with Southeast University (School of Architecture) and offered Advanced Theory Course (Master level) taught in English since 2015. He was appointed as Visiting Professor at Southeast University in November 2017.
He has published around 120 titles, 68 of them in the past 10 years. In the list of the publications of past 10 years there are 14 papers in journals and 8 on proceedings. Most are in books or chapters of books, according to the guidelines of his scientific sector (architectural design) and the rules of Italy for that sector. His publications can generally be organized in five different fields:
a) the architectural heritage and design of existing manufacts
b) the theories and techniques of architectural design and composition
c) the idea of landscape and its relationshipto design and building
d) the construction of architecture
e) published projects
