本报告强调“理解”现象的重要性,旨在激励年轻研究者欣赏工程学的真正魅力,并通过观察数学模型的发展过程来理解其本质机制。本报告将首先讨论人类能力的局限性和研究的重要方面,重点阐述理解与数学模型的密切关系,以及理想的数学模型的五个条件:简单性、包含所有基本属性、具有物理意义、广泛的应用范围和开发可能性。最后,强调努力理解现象的必要性以及对于工程学习的重要性。

This report emphasizes the importance of "understanding" the phenomenon, aiming to inspire young researchers to appreciate the real charm of engineering and to understand its essential mechanism by observing the development process of mathematical models. It begins by discussing the limitations of human capabilities and important aspects of research. It then highlights the close relationship between understanding and mathematical models, and the five conditions for an ideal mathematical model: simplicity, inclusion of all fundamental properties, physical significance, wide range of applications, and development possibilities. Finally, it emphasizes the necessity of trying to understand phenomena and the importance to engineering learning.




讲者简介


田村幸雄(Yukio Tamura),国际著名风工程专家,中国工程院外籍院士,重庆大学全职教授,主要从事风工程领域的研究,在抗风设计方法的确立和推广等方面的研究处于国际领先水平,是国际风工程界的代表性人物,为培育中国风工程专业人才做出了突出贡献。田村教授参与了中日重大国际合作项目以及多个中国科研项目,显著推动并引导了中国风工程研究的进步和发展。
Yukio Tamura is an internationally renowned expert in wind engineering, a foreign academician of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, and a full professor of Chongqing University. He is mainly engaged in the research of wind engineering. His research on the establishment and promotion of wind resistance design methods is at the international leading level, and he is a representative figure in the international wind engineering field. It has made outstanding contributions to cultivating Chinese wind engineering professionals. Professor Tamura has participated in major Sino-Japanese international cooperation projects and a number of Chinese research projects, and has significantly promoted and guided the progress and development of wind engineering research in China.
